Korean American writer and producer whose screenplays (Woosung, We Meet Again) have earned awards and festival acclaim. An NYU Tisch graduate with a BA in Cinema Studies and a current MS student in Professional Writing at NYU, Janet draws on her lived experience navigating Korean and American identity, bringing emotional specificity and cultural nuance to her work. She was a Finalist for the NJ State Council on the Arts 2025, co-showrunner of JHRTS NY Writers Room (2025), and a writer/producer for Like Clockwork (Best Proof of Concept - Austin Short Festival 2024).

NY-based director with a bi-racial background. Her credits span a Netflix documentary, a Paramount+ short, and a Sundance-winning feature. Her music video Slow Rider won the Audience Award at the 2025 Nitehawk Short Film Festival. A graduate of NYU Tisch (BFA), Emily brings a collaborative directing style and strong visual language shaped by a commitment to centering underrepresented voices. This year she was chosen as an HRTS 2025 Fellow. 
 

Winona (she/they) is a cinematographer, producer, and director. Born in Australia and raised by Chinese immigrant parents, her work and passions often lie in understanding the nuances of families and their histories, especially within communities of colour, the inbetween, and queer cultures. Their recent work Did You Eat Yet? (2024) screened at Philadelphia Asian American FIlm Festival, San Jose International Film Festival, and CineAsian Films. 

Producer with a degree from NYU Tisch and a background in documentaries, sports television, and branded content. Associate Producer of Photographic Justice: The Corky Lee Story (DOC NYC premiere, PBS broadcast). Worked with the NBC Sports team where she contributed to the company's Sports Emmy win for the XXIV Olympic Winter Games (Outstanding Live Sports Special) and received her first Emmy for the Games of the XXIII Olympiad (Outstanding Live Special - Championship Event).

In the commercial space, Brittany has post-produced projects for brands like Sony, Marvel, Macy’s, Samsung, and Maybelline, including a Sony’s Creator to Creator: Spider-Man series and Aide of Honor, a five-part campaign presented by Samsung Galaxy.

When not working on her own projects, you can find her reviewing the work of other artists as she's on the screening committees for both the Boston Asian American Film Festival and Fusion Film Festival.

KATHRYN LOVELESS is a writer/producer with a passion for historical intrigue. Fleeing the heat and palm trees of South Texas, Kathryn pretended to be pre-med at the University of Rochester. She marched out with Bachelors in both Biochemistry and English and a goal to write and produce television. Her first web series, Patched, won 5 student category awards in the 2016 LA Webfest. She was a semifinalist in both the 2023 WeScreenplay TV Pilot Lab and the 2021 ScreenCraft Drama Competition, and is currently a semifinalist in the 2025 Outstanding Screenplays TV Pilot Competition. Kathryn began her career casting for Broadway, commercials, and television and most recently worked in scripted development at October Films.

Sophia Jacobs is delighted to be working on We Meet Again. Her recent design credits include Sweeney Todd with NYU Tisch, Thomas-19 with Alex Pitcher Productions, Perhaps the world ends here with NYU Tisch and The Beginning of the End with Arondyte Productions. Recently Sophia graduated from NYU Tisch with a BFA in Production & Design focusing in Scenic design and Stage Management and Minor in Film. Some of her upcoming projects include The Raid with Arondyte Productions and Slow Rider by LilliMure. She is thankful to Janet and Emily for giving her the chance to be a part of this amazing project and is looking forward to collaborating with the We Meet Again crew.
